In reply to: [Kadence] Error loading size chart in the backendHi @freddyeee,
I’m using the latest version of the Shop Kit plugin but didn’t encounter the issue you’ve mentioned. Here’s a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/Jru5d9w4
Do you see any console error on the page?

ChitoHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
You can add an HTML anchor (e.g., anchor-lorem) to a block and use it as the button link (#anchor-lorem). Here’s a quick video: https://share.zight.com/wbuB4ZLZ
If you’re also using the Kadence theme, you can enable the “Enable Scroll To ID” option in Customizer > General > Performance for smooth scrolling.

In reply to: [Kadence] theme.json in 1.2.0Apologies for the lack of documentation regarding this change.
Before the update, there were missing options in the Gutenberg Group block when using the Kadence theme. Adding the theme.json file adds support to core blocks (changes to group block markup).
You can turn on/off this in Customizer > General > Performance > Enable Optimized Group Block.
It’s safe to enable this option, and it does not need a child theme.
Please let us know how we can assist further.

ChitoHi @ishant01,
Thanks for writing in.
When WordPress updates a plugin, it unzips the zip file and copies the files. If that fails part way through, it’s almost always due to lack of available disk space on your hosting account or permission issue.
Kindly reach out to your host to check these for you.
Let us know how it goes.

ChitoHi @quantum_leap,
Thanks for writing in.
Does the issue happen when you insert a pattern (formerly known as Reusable block) to the editor?
What block are you using? Can you also tell us the versions of the GP theme and Kadence Blocks plugin you’re using?
Thanks,
ChitoHi @asocialnomad,
Thanks for the screenshot.
If you have website cache, please clear it after updating a plugin or theme.
If you’re still having an issue, please do the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article to rule out the usual causes: https://www.kadencewp.com/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/

In reply to: [Gutenberg Blocks with AI by Kadence WP – Page Builder Features] kadence tabHi @davidecupio24,
Thanks for the link.
There’s a console error pointing to the cached version of the Tabs block script file: https://essegiautomation.com/wp-content/cache/wpo-minify/1707300897/assets/wpo-minify-footer-kadence-blocks-tabs3.2.21.min.js

Please clear the website cache and if the issue persists, try deactivating the caching plugin temporarily. If it resolves the issue, reactivate the plugin, go to the optimization settings and deactivate them one by one to know which one is causing it. I suggest you go first to the settings related to JavaScipt (JS).

ChitoHi @nishimotoson23,
Are you referring to the Gutenberg Heading or Kadence Text (Adv) block? Can you please send a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
In the meantime, please clear the website and server caches.

ChitoHi there,
Thanks for the update. We don’t change anything in our plugin recently. The issue might have been fixed in any of the third-party plugin’s recent update(s).
Feel free to reach out to us again if you encounter an issue, and we’ll be happy to take a look.

ChitoHi there,
Thanks for the information.
The WC Email Designer fetches data from WooCommerce. Probably it was getting a null value, hence the error. It could be a plugin conflict. Was there any update on the plugins related to WooCommerce?
Hi Jason,
Apologies for the delay in our response.
The Kadence Blocks plugin does not have a cart block. If you are using the Kadence theme, you can add the header Cart widget in Appearance > Customize > Header – here’s a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/qGuYYlPN
If you’d like to add a cart within the page/post content, you can use the WooCommerce Mini-Cart block that’s already included in the WooCommerce plugin.

In reply to: [Kadence] Post formatsHi there,
You can choose not to upload a featured image to a single post. In Kadence theme, featured images can also be disabled globally in Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Single Post Layout – see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/4guRNPgb
For individual posts, you can disable it in the Post Settings – see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/DOuPl6O2
You can use any blocks such as link, quote, video, audio, etc., that you’d like for single posts.
As for the archive pages, you can Replace Archive Loop Item Content via a Kadence Hooked Element (you can also use any blocks) – more info here: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/introducing-kadence-elements-templates-design-your-site-your-way/
If these don’t work for you, I suggest using the link I gave you to submit a feature request.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

In reply to: [Kadence] Post formatsHi there,
We’re delighted to hear you’re loving the Kadence theme. ??
I understand that many users loved the post formats. If you’d like to make this feature request more public, you can submit it at the below link. That way, other Kadence users will also be able to vote or comment.
https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/feature-requests/
The developers will then review your request. Please note that they consider certain factors before adding new functionalities.
If there’s a specific post format you’d like to implement now, please let me know, and I’ll see if I can suggest any workaround.

In reply to: [Kadence] Post formatsHi there,
Post formats are pretty much done away with at this point except for the typical one which has the featured image. They were an idea that didn’t get much adoption and were pre-Gutenberg. I’m not aware of any modern theme that is using them. Now that you can build posts using blocks, they are not needed since you can add different blocks that can achieve those. The core themes 2022 and 2023 do not use post formats either, so does the Kadence theme.
