More info – right now we are working with .pdf files – trying to get it so that people can view the PDF in their browser rather than have it where they download it and then have to use another program to open it.

You could create a new page template based off of the original and just take off the part where the title is.

@jaime – What you could do is to rename the theme and change the directory name. That should stop the updating.
