    Thanks a million Mat!

    That worked perfectly ??

Annoying that the conflict is still there but at least now I have a workaround I can use if I need to.

Thanks again for all your very patient help!

    Hi Mat.

It worked! Thank you so much for the simple copy/paste code!

    I have 2 follow up questions>

The additional CSS has also impacted one of the subtitles on my page (the one immediately under the large header in your screenshot i.e. lorem ipsum etc)- to correct this do I need to adjust the additional CSS in some way?

The Elementor typography editor still doesn’t work (even on the latest version) for this specific text – in future, if I wanted to change the size of this text, would I need to edit the additional CSS from 16px to the new size?

    Thanks

    Hi Mat

    Thanks for this.

I didn’t see an error message in the Health Check plugin but the issue disappeared when I switched out the Hestia theme for a default theme (twenty twenty) i.e. the typography editing with Elementor worked perfectly v. nothing happening with the hestia theme active.

    So I tried adding CSS but it made no visible difference so not sure if I did it correctly? I added this code -> hestia-welcome p { font-size: 16px;}

    Any advice?

    Hi All

Update: I followed Ian’s recommendation and used the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot and it seems likely that it is the Hestia theme that is the issue. When used with a default theme the Elementor typography editor works perfectly.

So the bottom line is that I still have the issue. However, given I’m using the free version of Hestia and I seem to have exhausted the support available it looks like I have no option but to change the theme – which is something I’ve really been trying to avoid given the work involved ??

    Hi AC

No, the issue isn’t resolved but I haven’t had a chance to install the Health Check plugin to see if I can get any more information yet. I should be able to do it in the next day or so.

    Thanks Ian

I will give it a shot on the staging site and see what it throws up!

    Hi Mat

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I have already tried this and it has no impact on the font size. It seems to have exactly the same issue as Elementor – I can change the font size in the editor/customiser but it has no impact on the font size on the site ??

    Thanks

    Tracy
