Perfect mbrsolution.
If i login using another theme or using a custom login plugin, it works fine. So i contacted my theme developer and his response was:
“This issue is not related to the theme, I’ve seen it on many WordPress sites with HTTPS – it seems that WordPress sets login cookies on a single level so when you access the dashboard URL you have to sign in again. Can’t say for sure why it works this way, please make sure that “https” is set for all URLs in Settings/General section”
So i installed your plugin – easy https redirection and set https to all urls (After this i realised the power of easy https redirection plugin. Amazing plugin) but still i see the same admin panel access issue.
I have no idea how to proceed next. Util i resolve this issue i will not be able to use the brute force settings. It would be great if you can suggest me with a possible resolution for this issue.
Thank you.
Hi,
I think i found the root cause of the problem.
After disabling all in one security plugin and then if I login to the site using my theme’s login, and then access the admin panel, i am being asked to login again, the url for the new login page is similar to
https://www.example.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
Once i enter the details here i am able to login to the website. Now, if all in one security plugin is enabled(with the rename login feature enabled), and i login using my theme’s login option and then access the admin panel, it just shows a blank page with the “not availble” message.
Hence, i guess the root cause lies in this redirection link: https://www.example.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1.
Can you kindly help me with resolving this issue.
Hi,
I have installed the easy https redirection plugin but i still have the same issue.
Let me try to brief the steps i follow when i am unable to access wordpress admin panel.1. I login to control panel and rename the All in one wordpress security plugin
2. Then, i login to my wordpress site, access the wordpress admin panel.
3. Rename the All in one wordpress security plugin in my control panel and activate the All in one wordpress security plugin. At this point i have no issues in accessing the admin panel.
3. After i log out and check after 2-3 hours,i would not be able to access the wordpress admin panel again.Latest changes made on my website:
1. Installation of ssl – done by my hosting provider
2. WordPress updated to 5.7.1
3. Php was updated to 5.6 from 5.5.x by my hosting provider- This reply was modified 8 years, 1 month ago by chinchu2005.
Hi,
SSL was installed by my hosting provider. Sure will check the plugin. As of now, i could not replicate the issue. Will check the plugin and revert back if i have any issues.
Thank you.
