In reply to: Can’t add media or tags or access text editor since upgradeIf you have the Page Speed plugin, try deactivating it. I had the same problem as you have and went through deactivating and activating all of my plugins and discovered that it was the culprit.
If deactivating that plugin does not work, then you might try the same process of elimination that I did to see if it is another plugin. (I started by deactivating half of the plugins, each half at a time, to narrow down if it was one of the plugins in either half.)
Good luck.

In reply to: Insert Link button not workingFYI, I went through my Plugins and found that my Page Speed plugin was causing the problem that made the editing buttons disappear or not work. I’m not sure why the problem started suddenly.
So, if you have that plugin, you might try deactivating it again (even though I realize you tried deactivating plugins already). Good luck.

In reply to: Insert Link button not workingI have the same problem when using the “Visual” tab for editing, so the link button is grayed out and does not work. When I use the “Text” tab for editing, the whole row of editing options, including the hyperlink button are gone suddenly.
But here’s the even stranger part: When I open and start working on a new post, everything is there and the link buttons work. But once I add Tags to the post, then the editing buttons in the “Text” tab disappear and the link button in the “Visual” tab stops working.
This problem just started happening, so I’m wondering if it is a bug in the latest WordPress upgrade. Anyone have any ideas?

In reply to: [Audio Player] Compatibility with WordPress 3.8I have the same problem, where if I install an audio track it goes into endless buffering. Dan, the reason the player has a different appearance probably is because it is a default audio player on your blog. If I remove the Audio Player plugin completely, I get a similar audio player (which unlike the Audio Player will play the MP3, although it does not look like I want it to look). Similarly, when I tried diywebco’s suggestion to use the older version of Audio Player, I just ended up with the default non-Audio Player player showing up.
Hopefully we’ll get an update or some resolution to this problem.
New version has been working for me too.
I have the new version activated and have two scheduled posts that are staying scheduled. So, so far, so good.
Thanks for the quick response with the new update. I appreciate it.
Thanks. I was doing that but the posts were still showing up for about ten minutes, but they have disappeared now. Thanks again. I hope we get a working version of the plugin again soon.
I got the same problem. I’d had a few weeks worth of posts scheduled and now they are all posted! I’ve deactivated the plugin. Does anyone know how to unpost them? When I change to “draft” they still show up on the website.

In reply to: [Related Posts] [Plugin RelatedPosts] %RELATEDPOSTS% no longer working? Thanks for the old version, to which I’ll be reverting. I appreciate your work on this plugin (although I wish there were a warning about this drastic change!).
Thanks.
JeffYes, thanks Keith for the plugin and for being so responsive.
Thanks @karesansui. I had to call my hosting company and they walked me through the process of getting access back to my site (which was pretty much what you suggested): (1) We logged into the cpanel and opened File Manager. (2) From there we opened the file “wp-content,” and then (3) opened the file “plugins,” where you can scroll down to the plugin’s name. (4) Then we changed the name of the stop spammer registration plugin (by adding “_old” to the name, but you can change it however you like).
Now I can access my site again. The plugin is listed as deactivated and if I reactivate it, I go back to not having access to my site and have to go through the process again. I guess I won’t be using this plugin until the bug is fixed.
I had the same problem this morning after updating the plugin yesterday, and I could not access my own site. Any suggestions?
Has anyone figured out a solution? I have the exact same problem. I’ve tried a couple of fixes suggested on other websites, but I still have the same problem described here. When I use WordPress Automatic Upgrade, it tells me the download is starting but nothing ends up in my Amazon bucket.
