you are absolutely right. I did not read all the fine print and that was stupid. I also was stupid to not know I should clear the damn cache before checking every page. I had already emptied the trash by then, so restoring via the plugin was not possible. I get your frustration and you should put HEY READ THE F-ING INSTRUCTIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY in a pop up or something. I think we just get really excited about cleaning the media! Good luck with it.

sorry i just don’t have time to work through the issues. I am adding featured images the regular way, with the featured image box in Gutenberg, and I am adding background images with the theme customizer. I already restored my websites and deleted the plugin, as it would have been faster to simply clean my media library manually instead of spending now 4 hours dealing with this.

i am not using and pagebuilder plugins at all. I use Gutenberg and Blocksy pro theme only and this plugin wiped the featured and background images from every website I tried it on.

actually i just contacted my hosts and they said it’s a Gutenberg thing. They adjusted security setting in their interface somehow and it fixed the issue across all of my sites

I am bradn new to wordpress, just spent two weeks learning it, and now can’t publish or save anything in my blog because this error comes up every time. please help
