thanks for the guidance – now…. once I do that, what should I edit in either the index or single file so that I can alter page look – colors, fonts, line height, etc. ??

yes! but there is no formatting like there is in the stylesheet (padding, margins, etc) – can I add that stuff there? sorry if that’s a totally stupid question, but those codes are only in my stylesheet…

thanks for the advice – I think I fixed the main page issues! I still can’t seem to figure out why the post pages dont work b/c I dn’t know where the coding is for those pages.

I have no idea what’s wrong with it. I did edit my theme.

I did find a screwy widget, but it appears that the formatting is off if I add more than 1 widget to the left sidebar (unless it’s the default widgets that are listed IF I don’t add any manually).

on the individual post pages, now both sidebars move underneath the post….

Interesting – it seems to have fixed by my removing a “feedburner link” widget, but my formatting for the two sidebars is way off. i think it’s the actual left sidebar that’s screwed up, because every time i add something to it the data goes to the right of the sidebar . ???

it works , but the formatting is off – it’s putting it all the way left and right and not in the main content area only… know how to fix that?

good idea. i was trying to think of a way to make the sidebars longer but don’t know how!

i’m seeing one of the sidebars at the bottom of my screen too but can’t figure out how to get them both side by side no matter what. seems like every so often the right sidebar gets pushed down….
