this was a local server issue, it’s solved now.

Update: using the filter option at the top (View all groups, WordPress, WordPress-seo, etc) also returns the same error.

also: image draft posts are imported as empty posts and can’t be moved to trash unless they have been edited before.

Same here. I just run an import and no images have been imported. Those posts that were only a picture were not imported.

Sorry Faebu, wrong plugin in the tags.

I am on 2.8.6 and re-validation didn’t work. I tried to re-install it, to install it from scratch on a newer blog, also in 2.8.6, but with no luck. I even deactivated all other plugins, but re-activation still won’t work.

So, I’m ditching this plugin from both sites, and go back to just using the embed code.

Just out of curiosity, DigitalArchivist, could you provide a list of plugins you’re using? I sense there’s some kind of conflict.

No worries, update to 2.8.3 seemed to fix the issue.

I use the theme. Somehow I missed the pot file, or maybe I’m using a previous version that lacked the pot file.

I’m going to do the translation for my own blog. I’ll send it to you once finished.

DigitalArchivist, do you use the visual or html editor?

I have a similar problem as you using the html editor. In the visual editor it works fine, but if I’m using the html editor I get no error message, just nothing happens. But, if I switch to the visual editor, and then back to the html editor, then it works again.
