Cheers Andrew. I’m not sure exactly. I’m doing a lot of changes on my website (www.learnandspeakenglish.co.uk) and I’m getting most of my help from a friend. She suggested I learn JQuery, but I didn’t ask why – I just figured I’d look for and start a course and then I’d find out ??

I also heard that learning aout CSS first would be useful and found this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS (which based on your HTML recommendation is probably a good place to learn it).

Should I also know Javascript before learning JQuery do you think?

I have replaced the previous code (from your last but one message) with the code from your last message. The only thing that has changed is that the colour of the button no longer turns red when it’s pressed (I forgot to mention in my last message that, as well as the arrow appearing, the button also turned red when pressed).

I have left all the code in place and I hope to hear from you soon ??

Thank so much for the really, but I still can’t get it to work…

I tried changing the style.css as suggested in your last message directly in the parent theme to see if it worked – but nothing changed. I then changed it back to how it was and then added the code from your last message into the stylesheet of my child theme (and re-added the code for the arrow button that you gave me a few weeks ago into my child theme header.php) and an the only thing that changed was that an arrow appears on my button, under the word “Menu”, but only AFTER the menu button is pressed…

I have left all the code in place and am now hoping you can suggest something else, or where I have gone wrong (I’m a relative newbie and could well has misunderstood your suggestions).

I have my fingers crossed ??

I don’t suppose you are using IE8 were you? A friend of mine said that the contact form wasn’t working on IE8 and I just want a second opinion.

Thanks. I already had CSS, and put your suggested code in there, but it didn’t work ??

I also tried putting it in my child theme (where I have adjusted other parts of the contact form), but that didn’t work either ??
