Here’s some more info:
– In this instance from the example above, the image is 628×387.
– If I inspect the image using Chrome, it shows it’s using css class attachment-tc_rectangular_size
– In my WordPress media settings, I have the following image sizes defined (as well as some others):
tc_rectangular_size defined as 1170×300, crop = true
tc-thumb defined as 270×250, crop = true

270×250 for an article header image seems so tiny? Is this really the case? Especially since I set the thumbnail location as “top”, it spans the entire width of the article.

Featured images can come in all sizes. Without having to use photoshop to resize all featured images, are there settings or css overrides to have the browser scale, instead of zoom & crop?
