I’m not sure WHAT happened, but it’s working again so I’m a happy camper ??

I’m having this problem for the first time now ?? My post word count says 357, but my page analysis says There are 234 words contained in the body copy, this is below the 300 word recommended minimum. Add more useful content on this topic for readers.

I’ve looked through every line of HTML, saved and resaved the draft, and still don’t see the problem.

The plugin isn’t loading templates for me anymore since yesterday ??

Thanks for sharing Expana! I like that it’s fast, checks more than just links, and you can keep a log ?? I downloaded and am using it now.

Why use a plugin when you don’t have to? Sites run faster and cleaner without them.

Mine’s been doing the same thing every day for three days now. It’s starting to be very annoying.

I get a pageful of the error message and have to deactivate and active every day.

I’ve been using Broken Link Checker for months. I think I’ll look for an alternative at least until this is fixed.

The same thing happened to me. This is the second and last time I’ve used Better WP Security. It’s really hard to find a good security plugin, but this is simply not worth the hassle.

These two items are “stuck” in my initial scan hours later. It happened the first time I tried too, but I killed the scan.

I’ve registered for the Wordfence forums, but don’t see a search there. Makes them hard to use. Have to browse through pages and pages of posts to find what I might be looking for.

I’ve had a free license. It’s the first thing I did after installing. I always go through options thoroughly when I start using a new plugin, or any software.

Definitely broken. I’ve received too many complaints from valid users. Changed and rechanged settings.

I’ve loved using Spam Free WordPress, but if my readers can’t comment — it’s simply not worth it. Time look for an alternative (again) and move on!

FYI. I used the cPanel code editor to apply 22944.3.patch and it works perfectly ?? My last scheduled post published in whole with complete script and input boxes.

Should we try applying one of the patches since the 3.5.1 update is only at 36%? I have 31 scheduled posts and hate to have to draft each one or add script again after publication.

I appreciate the information and usually follow the rules. What prompted my response is the thread opener’s question “Anyone else having this issue or have any idea what may be causing it?”

I’m happy to hear do’s and don’ts from forum editors and moderators, but I don’t need or appreciate a [ unnecessary rude comment moderated ] telling me what to do. I’ve been around the block — around the world for that matter ??

Excuse us for sharing our common problems! I personally don’t see the point in creating a million separate, but related threads — they’re even harder to follow.

What are you doing in a www.remarpro.com forum anyways with a free BlogSpot account?

This is happening to me too ?? 3.5 is totally removing linky scripts like <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://www.inlinkz.com/cs.php?id=XXXXXX”></script&gt; when scheduled posts are published.

It also strips input box HTML code from this:

I hope it will be fixed soon! Right now it looks like I have to use drafts instead of scheduled posts so I don’t have to keep looking up linky scripts all over again.

The zip file didn’t work for me either.

Couldn’t install from dashboard:

Plugin install failed.

cPanel overwrite didn’t work either:

Setup wasn’t able to create the required tables. Please reactivate GDE or perform a clean installation.

Deleted the plugin and reinstalled with the zip from dashboard. Appeared to work, but reads Version 2.5.2 instead of the zip name 2.5.3.

Tried to upload an image into a new post and it just hangs. Trying now to deactivate the plugin, but it’s just spinning and waiting.

Moved plugin to a tmp folder in cPanel until a good fix is published.
