I always use firefox if that makes a difference.

Just a heads up that the sidebar widget is working okay on my site in the latest version 5.3.4.

I purged LiteSpeed Cache in case that made a difference, but it’s working fine on Firefox, Chrome, Edge and also Android.

I too think this functionality would an asset – however, I also understand that it would take a great deal of technical expertise to implement.

It didn’t work but that’s okay – perhaps because I am using a child theme and/or have added CSS already for this plugin that you helped me with a long time ago.

I am using both WordPress Popular Posts and Litespeed Cache. I did not have the same problem you have but I found that some of the settings in LS Cache hinder the WPP so the best idea is to enable each setting one by one until you find which is the one that stuffs up your display. It will probably be either the css or js settings in the page optimisation section.

It happened with just a couple of my images – I think it had something to do with the fact I don’t use featured images. I simply replaced the images in the block (with the same image) and it worked fine again.

If you have a child theme:

1. Create the structure in your child theme e.g. /child/parts/

2. Copy the single-author-date.php to /child/parts/single-author-date.php

3. Edit /child/parts/single-author-date.php

That way you are not changing the code on the Hueman theme itself.
