In reply to: [Autoptimize] Disqus errorAh, perfect! The description on that field implies it has to be a filename, so I didn’t realize this was an option. Thanks so much!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Domain Mapping page cache flush, developer questionWe have a site using Multisite with Domain Mapping and W3TC and we’ve been unable to clear the caches for individual sites in the network due to this issue. This has become a major problem for one of our clients. We may be forced to switch to a different cache plugin if this issue isn’t solved soon, but I would really rather not have to do that. W3TC is such an excellent cache plugin, I would hate to have to give it up over a plugin conflict that should be pretty easy for the developers to work out.
Has there been any progress on this issue? Any response from the developer?
Thanks, Tim!
Thank you for the prompt response. Your suggestion certainly sounded like a good idea, but unfortunately it does not work. It appears that the invalid SSL certificate warning message gets triggered as soon as the browser even attempts to connect to the server, before the request goes through to the htaccess file. So while this does get the user to a non-HTTPS connection in the end, they still have to pass through an invalid HTTPS connection and the associated warning message to get there, which kind of defeats the purpose.
This led me to some further research, including an answer to a related StackExchange question that basically says the only way to do this is through a redirect embedded into the VirtualHost directive in your Apache config file. Since I manage VirtualHosts through Plesk, I’m not sure I can rely on manual changes to the config file sticking around, but I’m going to give this a try when I have the chance and I will report back here with results, in case anyone else with this issue comes across this thread later.
That said, ideally I would still like to filter the permalinks pointing to that domain to prevent them from returning an HTTPS URL to begin with. If anyone knows how to do that, I would appreciate it.

In reply to: [Woocommerce Custom Tabs] More of a demo than a pluginIt appears that ratings cannot be deleted, only changed, so I have updated my rating and review to reflect that the error seems to have been unrelated to this plugin.
Please stop emailing my boss now. Thanks.
