I have a site working on my computer with Vista and exampplite, but after uploading to hostgator, I have no index.html file and when I enter my domain name I get a blank page. How do I create an index file? I have index.php. Is that the same file?

I checked the FF version and it is 3.6.15

I use Xampp and the latest Firefox. Allow Firefox? Don’t remember the choice being presented.

It was a simple error. I entered ” instead of ‘ ‘. That cost me a lot of time and frustration.

I have installed xampp-lite and all elements are running. Modified the config.php file and get this error message:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-config.php on line 77. This is line 77: $table_prefix = ‘wp_’;. Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
