Issue resolved: I found a new theme.

I have found a new theme to use, and paid good money for it as well. I was afraid that the errors that exist with the free version also exist with the paid version.

Having no support respond to open support tickets in the Support > Theme:Cactus makes me think the pro version is not worth buying. ??

Seems to be working now, not sure if it was a loading issue or not.

I was able to force the background color to change with code.
