Yes. They certainly did. Luckily for us, we had a staging site as well that was being kept up to date so we were able to simply swap out the sites and go back to the way it was without any worries about whatever code was installed during that update.
In our case @hunter12494, the issue was confined to just one computer. Of course, it was the one on which all the web development was being performed. The issue has. since gone away, although I don’t remember when or how. May have simply been when we wiped the browser back to a clean state, or when we switched to a new workstation.

In reply to: [HD Quiz - Save Results Light] Saving/Exporting ResultsI did try your suggestion on copy and paste the JSON string, and got this:
Request Entity Too Large
The requested resource
/wp-admin/options.php
does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.Oh well, it was worth a try.
IGNORE my previous posts about an issue with PDFs loading. Still can’t explain it, but the problem only exists on my desktop computer. Have used an iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro and the PDFs load fine on each of them. Apparently, my iMac is just acting flaky at the moment.
Sorry for being the boy calling wolf!

In reply to: [HD Quiz - Save Results Light] Saving/Exporting ResultsThanks for the reply and I completely understand. We’ve been doing the weekly updates the easy way by doing a total replacement of all files and the SQL DB from the staging site. While it would be nice to be able to keep a running total of the quizzes, it is hardly necessary at this point. Especially considering the limited functionality of the Lite version of the plugin.
p.s. We would be quite happy to purchase professional versions of both plugins in the future when they become available.

In reply to: [HD Quiz] Randomizing of Questions Not WorkingThank you. I’m not aware of any page caching enabled, although we do have page acceleration turn on in Jetpack as well as a separate CDN service.
Switching the WP Pagination to blank did not fix the issue either.
No worries really though, as this is a minor gripe and not a must-have feature for us.
Thank you @jenniferklibby, Unfortunately that did not fix the issue for our site. The whole situation has gotten even stranger though as I’ve discovered that the plugin loads the PDFs fine on the mobile version of the website, but they are still nonexistent on the desktop version of the site.
The plugin loaded PDFs fine for several months, and only seems to have gone haywire somewhere around the time that WP 5.4 was released. Coincidental, perhaps.
Thank you for the update released in the past day, however, it does not appear to have fixed the problem. PDFs still are not loading under WP 5.4.
We are having the same issue in that NONE of our PDFs are loading on the pages anymore at rocketstem.org. The problem seems to have appeared in just the last week. Our best guess is that it might be related to the WordPress 5.4 update.
We can verify that it is NOT size related, as our PDFs range from a mere 2-3 MB up to around 70 MB and this issue has affected them all.

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Not able to get the guest author on post.I’ve yet to try this to see if it fixes the situation, but I came across this on the plug-in’s page here and it seems to directly address the issue. Uncertain why it was not a problem for our site until a few months ago, but hoping this fixes it.

In reply to: [Co-Authors Plus] Not able to get the guest author on post.Having the same issue. Is now defaulting the post author to the user account it was created from, instead of giving credit to the Guest Author selected.
Unknown when it started, but am on WP 5.2 and believe it was working on WP 5.0.

In reply to: [Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions] PlugIn Will Not ActivateWith 16 active plugins, I decided to try disabling the plugins one by one and seeing which one was messing with the Optimize DB plugin. Got lucky on the very first one. Appears that the Varnish plugin is the culprit.
Thanks for the help!

In reply to: Retrieving Posts from Old WP FilesThat sounds to be not too far outside my realm of my WP expertise. Just a little research and I should be able to figure it out.
