Hi. I don’t have a wetransfer account and would prefer not signing up. Is there another way to get the zip file? Thanks!
I spent a bit of time today inspecting the code again. Quite by accident I found another instance of cursor pointer. Tried to stop it with css, no joy. Knew it had to be battling codes I couldn’t figure out. Devs are getting sneakier. ??
Yes please. I’d be happy to test out your beta version. ?? Thanks so much!
Kind Regards,
CharlyHowdy and thanks for the reply. At present my site isn’t launched yet; still developing it. Have you never seen this before?
As stated I’m using Elementor and put the gallery shortcode in their shortcode widget. In Inspector, Elementor cursor is set to default, yet shows the grab hand only over gallery images; nowhere else on site. Then when hovered it brings up that stupid old yellow box.
Being fairly tech savvy, I’ve tried to find what to hide but nothing works using css. Really don’t want to labor figuring out a function to stop it, so contacted you.
Kind Regards,

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Stop from having Default CategoryAndrew, as stated previously, I can appreciate how “some” would love having a default product category.
But there are those who have no use for it and should be given the opportunity to delete it; not “made” to use one which is more work, time and money.
Heck my customer doesn’t want any filters up on custom shop/category pages and doesn’t want breadcrumbs either. Categories are only used for wc shortcodes of what my customer wants on a given page. And as admin, I don’t need them for anything else.
I will post in github and wc forums with the hope that this will be updated as an option for your customers. At present, it will cost my customer money to follow WC rules or pay a developer to remove it cuz nothing I tried worked…
Geeesh didn’t think this simple request would be such a hassle… Not everything fits everyone’s specific needs and should be an option to use or not.
FYI, I have 4 clients that will NOT use a default category and 1 who might.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Stop from having Default CategoryThanks for the reply Laurena.
Again my client does NOT wish to have a default category. I cannot remove it, only WC can do that.
Please remove having to have a default category or allow us to delete it easily with an WC update asap! Please help make my development easier. Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Stop from having Default CategoryHi @yukikatayama,
Thanks, but that doesn’t work either. I’ve tried everything I could find online. ??
I don’t just want to hide it, I want to not have a default category of any kind. From what I’ve tried and read, it seems the only option for my client is for WC to remove/delete the set default category and/or allow us not to have one some how.
This new addition of a default category is very bad for some who use WC. While I appreciate it works well for many, what about those of us it doesn’t work for? Whereas, it takes more work, time and ultimately costs money…Please just get rid of it or allow us to delete it completely. My client doesn’t want or need a default category! Thanks!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Prioritize Visible Content at 7%I followed the video on Inline and defer CSS. Now pagespeed insights shows 2 of the AO cache .css files under Eliminate Render Blocking ??
Not sure what caused this or how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks!!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Prioritize Visible Content at 7%Yes my apologies. I turned off CF to see if that was the culprit and when I enabled it my site when down. Couldn’t get into my CF account, so just disabled for now. Oh the joys of all that is good, but can be bad. LOL

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Prioritize Visible Content at 7%that’s because you have “inline all CSS” active ??
It is not checked in settings ?? I did a major flush on siteground and turned off SuperCacher. I purged WP cache twice. Then I Saved and Purged AO twice. Also deleted 1% AO cache in admin bar. No other cache plugins are installed. I do have CloudFlare.
So would that mean that AO aggregated css/js isn’t working properly for me? Like something in Avada theme is preventing it? I’m at a loss as to what caused my home page to all of a sudden take forever to load and be blank for a second or two. ??
It was not like that previous to installing AO and SGCacher in WP and enabling Cloudflare…

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Prioritize Visible Content at 7%Thanks for the fast reply Frank!
I assumed that would be the answer and I had watch the video on how to do this. It should be simple enough. Yet, I can’t find the link text/css media aggregated css in my home page source to use; it seems not to exist.
Have I set AO settings incorrectly? Do I need to do something else in AO before this will appear? Or perhaps it is indeed Avada causing this?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Plugin: WooCommerce] Remove Add: after Shipping and Handling on cart pageHi Hashim,
I’m on my way to work sorry. Could you post a link to your page? Perhaps I can see what will work for you tomorrow morning, though no guaranty. It’s been quite awhile since I found this fix for me

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Add to Cart button always open after updateAgain thanks for your reply! Well I still cannot get the add to cart button to be invisible. But… With your link I was able to deactivate it until all variations were selected. Once all selections were made the single_variation came up w/price and it worked to add the print to shopping cart. Thanks for that!
Any ideas though how I can make it invisible w/o making the single_variation add to cart invisible too? I really would prefer it not showing at all and the single_variation work with selections.
BTW, is this a bug introduced with the last 2 WC updates?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Add to Cart button always open after updateThanks for the reply Mike! I messed with things for a couple of hours and no joy. ??
I now have 2 divs listed for the Add to Cart and am clueless where the other came from
<div class="woocommerce-variation single_variation" style="display: none;">
This one is grayed out as it should be until all variations are selected
<div class="woocommerce-variation-add-to-cart variations_button">
This is the one that is always visible. If I display:none to hide it,
.woocommerce-variation-add-to-cart {display: none;}
or
.variations_button {display: none;}
the Price returns after all variations are selected, but the quantity and add to cart button are missing. I tried every way I could think of to make this work and again no joy.
Any other ideas?
