    Gosh I worked on my site all day yesterday to fix all that went wrong with numerous updates. Last time I checked the site in a different browser all was good, but I guess not ??

    Yes the single product image is the same on Neve/Elementor and 2024 with just WC. While I was able to contain portrait/vertical image, it’s now showing as 100×100 instead of true size. All images should be and were before, shown fully then zoomed in on. Most landscapes are fine, but none of the portraits.

    This morning there was an update for Elementor and that fixed the critical error. My link can now be accessed.

    The product image is the same in 2024 theme.

    I looked over the code again and although I have a 400×700 image set, the code says 100×100. Again seems an issue with WC and not Neve or Elementor.

    Am I correct here?

    Also I did get the portrait image not to take up the whole page gallery column, but going to the page you can see it’s too small being 100×100

    I’ve already done that, but will try again

    Had this happen this morning. First put website on Maintenance mode, then made sure everything was up to date; found WP wasn’t. Disabled all plugins, then turned on Elementor and it’s associated plugins. Tried to edit a page and all was well again. ?? Critical error gone!

    Hi and thanks for your reply!

    I added the_content(); to a new page-templates.php added to my Child theme. It didn’t work. ??

    Since I just needed to change the Continue Shopping link, I opened WP editor and changed it in Text, then Updated page. Of course that shifted some of the content on the page. geesh…

    Then I clicked on edit in elementor while in WP editor and the page opened! YAY! It now works as it should. Seems going into WP editor and making changes to checkout page is what corrected the issue after I added page-templates.php to my Child theme.

    Thanks again for sticking with me on this! I started rebuilding a new site and really didn’t want to do all the work again at this time. Though that will come in the future without elementor and other plugins, as my site is throwing a lot of warnings in Inspector whereas it didn’t before the update that caused the initial issue…

    Kind Regards,
    Charly

    Hi again,

    No worries it happens.

    I’m now using PHP 7.4.26 and still get the error message below when I try to edit my Checkout page with elementor

    You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current page in order for elementor to work on this page.

    Are you telling me to create a new checkout page to see if that works? There’s no firewall on my host, but I do use WordFence’s firewall.

    Also you need to know that I have connected my cart and checkout pages onto 1 page. That did work for some time prior to the update that rendered the WC pages uneditable and throwing the above message on a gray page. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Imagery by Charly

    I’ve tried numerous times to regenerate data; Elementor and EA, no joy. I have plenty of memory, more than most. I’m running PHP 7.3.33, though I didn’t know PHP 4 was used anymore.

    Checking Elementor System Info:

    1. 7 PHP; #0: Elementor\Core\Logger\Manager -> shutdown()
    2. 1 JS; elementorFrontend is not defined
    3. Last Log; `2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] elementor::elementor_updater Started
    2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] Elementor/Upgrades – _on_each_version Start
    2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] Elementor/Upgrades – _on_each_version Finished
    2021-11-22 13:32:12 [info] Elementor data updater process has been completed. [array (
    ‘plugin’ => ‘Elementor’,
    ‘from’ => ‘3.4.3’,
    ‘to’ => ‘3.4.8’,`

    Have tried everything I can think of to no avail. I need to edit the WC pages and Elementor is not allowing it…

    Please advise. Thanks!

    Hi Clint,

    No not header changes, I had a plugin causing the errors. Fixed it. Don’t have the time at the moment, to mess around with search. Will look into it when I have time.

    Thanks!

    Hi Clint,

    Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestions, no joy. Wound up redoing my header to bring the results more to center.

    I messed around with css, but was unable to make the print box wider, add margin to right of box to pull it in from edge and center it more and cover much of page on desktop. ??

    Hi Clint,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Questions:

    1. Is there a way to force the search box to cover 75% of desktop screen?

    2. How can I change the list to show on left side and print on right?

    Kind Regards,
    Charly

    Hi @martadella,

    Ans 1. I put this css in customize theme, didn’t work. Added to Child Theme > style.css and it was still contained

    Ans 2. Just realized what the issue was; forgot have 27″ iMac mirrored to TV at 720p. Duh. My apologies!

    Ans 3. I can’t see any noticeable problems with it being checked

    New 1. Is there css to center search box on page and remain responsive to viewport?

    New 2. Is there a way to have search list on left side and detailed print on right? Thanks!

    Kind Regards,
    Charly

    First I would suggest contacting Bespoke to see if it can be integrated easily with WP. If not, then you’ll have to hire a developer to build the integration which would be pricey.

    Perhaps look into other options available for inventory management that work well in WordPress. Most inventory management programs have a way to export everything and many WP plugins have a way to import them. Or if you’re not sure, hire someone to do the research for you that is knowledgeable and honest on what’s the best course of action. Good Luck!

    Samual, I stated in my post all I tried, including what you suggested. Thanks tho

    You’re welcome. Re: #2 Do you mean you can see the content on the page or it’s still blank? You’re answer is a bit confusing for me lol

    Page custom templates are usually part of a theme, plugin or built by someone.
