No worries. I should have mentioned that I was a newbie.
By the way who’s idea was it to call that button kitchen sink
    instead of toggle toolbar!!
You don’t have to answer that. I was just thinking out loud.
I don’t want to take more of your time.
    Until next time…

    Hi guys,
thank you soo much for your answers. I understand that you are doing this on volontary basis and that it cannot always be easy to solve problems when newbies like me don’t give all the details.
( I even had to think hard to find out where I can see which IE browser I am using, so you understand the level of my tech knowledge is fairly low ) which also means a small problem for you can be big for me.
Anyway I am using IE7 and I could write posts until recently.
And the irregular toolbar is in visual mode.
Thanks Clayton for you advice. I wonder how to find the compatibility view settings in IE7. Tools, Internet Options and then ?

    Dear geezerd,
thanks for commenting my question. I can feel your passion for WP and believe me,I would like to feel it to if I could just use it everyday but when you do baby steps and some technical detail stops you from using it, for example in my case.. what do you do??
I asked my hosting company for help, they recommended me this forum,
all I get is a haha answer.
I do not want to come across as bitching as you seem to think I am doing.
All I want is help to solve my problem so I can start blogging.
This is the first time I find this hostile attitude anywhere on a help forum on the internet.
There are several ways to blog out there. For some reason WP seems to
be the blogging platform of preference.
Maybe I have been misinformed that WP is easy to use. It IS easy but if you get stuck, you get stuck. And where do you go for help?

Judging by the questions in the forum the stumleblocks for newbies are not massive but numerous. The size have no meaning here. A problem is a problem is a problem….
So dear Geezerd, in order not to irritate you in the future with our questions that are so irritating and meaningless to you but life changing to us, maybe you can tell us where do we address our questions?
Is there a paid WP helpdesk anywhere?

Excuse me but I don’t find this answer helpful.
This is a problem for me. I am just starting up and this
is blocking me. My hosting company recommeded me
to come to this forum for help.
I did not expect my problem to be
a laughing matter for the MODERATOR of forum.
And what do you mean with hopefully ms will fix it.
    What is ms?
If you cannot help me please redirect me to someone who can.

    Hi Boo,
regarding your password, sometimes a password do not work
if you copy and paste it, and you have also by mistake
copied the empty space before or after the word.

I don’t know if that helps.
    Charlotte
