I updated php and wordpress Before updating the plugins. The older version of the plugin is working fine and everything else is running on the most up to date versions, so the issue seems to be in the plugin. I did test for plugin incompatibilities before restoring the old version. I hope you find the issue, it’s a super plugin.

I rolled it back to version 1.6.3 and contact form 7 to 5.1.7 and it is working again, not ideal but it’ll have to do for now.

It actually seems to have duplicated some of the profile fields as well now I look at the form in more detail in the meta dropdown some fields are in twice – that’s probably at the heart of the problem. Not all of them are duplicated just some of them which is odd

I work on lots of different projects so I only just came back to this, sorry for delay. I got rid of that record in wp_options as you suggested and that did trigger the prompt for the upgrade to run – thank you. But all is not solved…

When I did that upgrade the directories had lost the associated membership levels – but when I reset them they worked again. I mention that incase that’s what’s going on with the profiles.

I still have a problem with the profiles being incomplete. I can pull in fields using the user meta box in the form so the form is working to some extent but the main fields aren’t showing up in the profile as they used to at all. Using the user meta box isn’t ideal – it looks messy and there’s extra fields that only logged in users are supposed to see. So for some reason the profile form still isn’t displaying in the site properly whilst it did in 2.0.43

When I look at the roles I now appear to have duplicates of the custom roles only they have different numbers of members in those duplicated roles. Which is very strange they have different custom_role ids but the same names.

I’ve pulled in some of the key fields to the user meta box in the profile so that I don’t have to downgrade again, but it doesn’t look well. Can you suggest what might be causing these problems.

Edit: Note that I’ve reverted back to the old version for the time being. I’ll try the update again later on if there’s a way to force that database update to run. I’m sure that’s all it is.

I updated the version from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 and that resolved the issue.

Yes I did run it and it said it was successful – I had to revert back to the earlier version to get the profiles back. Looking at the forum there appeared that there were issues for other people using custom user levels. I wonder if that is the problem.

also it needed wordpress upgrading to 5.2 from 5.1.1

I had the continuously spinning arrow, although the form was sending, and it was not a plugin or theme issue – it turned out to be because I had been advised by the host to upgrade to php 7.3.5 to increase the performance. When I reverted down to php 7.0.33 it worked again.

I used https://www.webaccessibility.com and it picked it up as an error in the small calendar widget

I changed the week header cells in eme_calendars.php to th instead of td and the error corrected and there was no style issues at all.
