“Free Templates” – you specifically mention free templateS. There’s one. Anyway, you won’t change my mind and I’m sure you won’t change the mind of other customers.
“Create Beautiful Subscribe Forms easily in less than 1 minute.
“MailChimp Subscribe Form offers beautiful templates that are designed to increase subscribers. “
“With our collection of Subscribe Form templates your Forms”
The FREE version offers one template. All other templates are premium. Screenshots also show plenty of different templates, but all are premium. You deliberately mix up which features are free and which are premium, so that users will start using your plugin thinking that most of the templates are free.
I guess the point is, if you release a free plugin that’s rather limited then relentlessly plug your premium plugins, customers will likely upgrade to get the advanced features.
If that premium plugin doesn’t actually solve the problem, or isn’t a good plugin, inevitably users will go back to the original (or “gateway”) plugin and leave a negative review.
What YITH may not appreciate in this case is that setting up a plugin (even a free one) takes time and effort. If the premium plugin that the user is in the end forced to upgrade to still doesn’t present a good solution then it’s better for free users to be aware of what they’re getting into at the very start.

Did you ever get your money back?

In reply to: [Price Based on Country for WooCommerce] Compatibility with shipping pluginsHi Oscar,
I contacted the plugin author and they said that they output shipping data in the standard Woocommerce way.
I also tried with the “bolderelements – Table Rate Shipping for WooCommerce” and it had the same issue. This is one of the most popular plugins on WordPress.
So I’m just wondering if you could have a look at the way your plugin handles shipping costs? Or is it something I’ve set up wrong?

In reply to: [Table Rate Shipping for WooCommerce] Not workingHi,
I’m having the same problem. It works great with the first shipping zone in my list, but not any of the others. Interestingly, when I get above a certain value, it starts to show up alongside my free shipping option
Things I have tried:
– starting weight brackets from 0.0001 to 2, 2.0001 to 4 and so on
– clearing my cache/cookies
– logging out of my wordpress and checking againWould love some help ??

In reply to: Multi-site Permalinks issueHi Bet,
Thanks for your quick reply. I played around with my sites last night and finally figured out it was a more basic issue – when I used the MultiSite Clone Duplicator plugin, I assumed I could clone my original site. This however does not replicate the tables properly, which led to the missing data.
I used NS Cloner Free Version to copy the original site (although I think the Cloner plugin will work too) and it works fine now.
One or two plugins didn’t like this approach, so if I was doing it again (i.e. starting from scratch with a blank website/network) I would create a base site on which to configure my theme, plugins etc, duplicate that site, THEN add the content (pages, pics, media) and use that site to duplicate to new sites using MultiSite Clone Duplicator.
Anyway, just my thoughts and not sure if this is good practice or not!
Thanks again Bet
