In reply to: [Cache Enabler] Prisna Google Translate Incompatibility HomeUnderstood.
Do you think it’s more related to .js versus .css?
I see the following .js files in its javascript directory:- admin.class.js
common.class.js
translator-bar.js
translator-dropdown.js
When I have more time (may be a few days or even two weeks) I can test them by adding them to your exceptions list one-by-one.
The confusing part is that the plugin works on subsequent pages – just not the homepage. That part doesn’t make much sense to me.

In reply to: [Cache Enabler] Prisna Google Translate Incompatibility HomeThanks Frank and Cody.
I’ve tested the above and it works so it appears to be AO caching a file so Cody is probably correct (I say probably because this is above my pay grade at this point lol.) What that file is, I don’t know and I will have to look later to see where it is going wrong. I’ll also update the plugin author with this information as well as KeyCDN as I find out more.
Open to suggestions.
Thank you both again!

In reply to: [Cache Enabler] Prisna Google Translate Incompatibility HomeThanks Cody. I’ve tried many troubleshooting steps including turning off various plugins.
However, why would adding the page ID to the exclusions section within Cache Enabler allow it to suddenly work?
I have Autoptimize and Cloudflare enabled. These are the only two other items I can think of aside from my htaccess that may affect Cache Enabler behavior later on.
Awesome. Thank you!

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] W3TC Install Error on Database Transfer/MigrationThis seems to have solved my issue. I had to link to the full new path and replaced all instances within my database using Wordpad lol.
Back in business again!

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] W3TC Install Error on Database Transfer/MigrationI should ask – do you suppose it is safe to actually edit the old sql database file by searching for the old paths and updating them to the new locations?

In reply to: Edit Comment – Links to my site as Spam?Hmm. Was a little bit confusing at first glance.
Maybe a future suggestion to the WP dev team is to separate pingbacks/trackbacks from the comment section – or at least the spam section. But it’s not a big deal.
Thanks for the response Sam.

In reply to: Edit Comment – Links to my site as Spam?Is it simply that I’m allowing a pingback to appear below the comments?

In reply to: Ordered Lists Uneven in Internet ExplorerFixed – just some messy CSS code on my behalf I think.
Thank you very much for your reply.
I tinkered with a bunch of stuff. I think ‘clearing both’ and ‘vertical-align top’ helped solved some issues with the various browsers.

In reply to: Login form in sidebarJust a warning – I’m currently experiencing a ‘submit’ for non-authenticated users error in Internet Explorer using this script posted by epicalex.
When a user hits submit on a comment, it triggers a non-logged in user to log into the wordpress screen (exactly what I didn’t want.)
I’m trying to fix it but I’m banging my head against a wall.

In reply to: Automatic Image thumbnails with Lightbox – Add from URLI’m pretty excited to be using WordPress. I had used movabletpye long ago when you had to hook it in manually to a database. Recently, I’ve experimented with Joomla and it was too much.
One reason I’ve settled on WordPress is the relative simplicity of everything. You can also extend it in so many other ways if so desired. I’m very happy overall, but I do have one major complaint.
It’s the lack of community involvement/activity in this forum. It’s not a complaint about the people working on WordPress (they seem to be awesome people), but rather a complaint towards the community.
I’ve never seen so many empty replies on posts in any other software forum. And I’m part of a lot of forums. I wish people here were a little less sporadic and a bit more helpful.

In reply to: How do I display excerpts of posts on my index page?I need to add that I am just testing this system. I haven’t put anything in the ‘Excerpt’ section – just in the ‘Post.’
