I figured this out; the solution was right before my eyes and if it was a snake it would have bit me!

thanks for your input; i guess i should have been more specific; it is the “wp_mail” function; i ran the code on a wordpress page and the code worked just fine and sent the note exactly how it should; i then i tried to run the same code from a standalone php file and it did not work at all; that is what makes me think there is something else i need to do; does that make it any clearer?

Hey guys: thanks for getting back with me on this, to Seacoast, thanks for your input, I was able to use firebug to get the CSS from the source site. So that is what started all of this. And I am using Thesis 1.85 so there is no need for a child theme. But thanks for your input.

Also – thanks wpyogi for replying. Do either you know where else I could look that would provide help on what wpyogi is suggesting?

huh – I figured this out – thanks for your help…

well the website is https://charismaarts.com; but I would really like to do this another way. Does anyone know how to do this using a child theme? Or by naming my new file a certain name and replacing it with the one that is there right now in wordpress. I deactivated the plugin so I dont know that it can be diagnosed now; but I know this could be done another way if I just knew where to do it. I can reactivate the plugin if you think that is the best option but I would rather go another route. If the plugin fails now then we cannot count on it and I would rather go with something more reliable. I just was not able to figure out where. Please let me know about this…
