Hi, Emily and Steven. Thanks for the responses. Key information from Emily was to search Host provider for a way to update to newer version. Done in 5 minutes.

    Thank you so much ??????

update: I have found how to access phpmyadmin via my service providers web site but the database is empty… I am not sure if I am missing something fundamental or just not constructed the site correctly to be able to maintain it.

My hosting is being done via a company called 123.reg not WordPress.com. I cannot find any of these tools available to me. All I seem to be able to access from my hosting service is a series of file names which when right clicking on them allow me to edit in text form.

I have not risked changing any as yet as I am not sure what I am doing!

I could not locate any of the file names referenced in the video.
