  • Same problem as audreatelkamp and Olivia86 with photos not uploading on a new install. I can create a gallery, but can’t add a picture. Doesn’t matter what method (browse or drag and drop), or browser (IE or Chrome).

    I tried the changes that seemed to make it work for audreatelkamp:

    Permalinks – set to Post Name
    Result: no change

    Discussion –
    deselected Allow link notifications
    deselected Allow people to post comments
    Result: success. after that change I was able to upload through the Gallery interface.

    However–I did make another change and I failed to re-test after that. After making the Permalinks change, but before making the Discussion settings change, I manually uploaded a file (via FTP) into an empty gallery. Then I opened that gallery and did a “scan for new images”. That worked.
