As an update, this appears to be a problem that impacts only the MONTHLY dropdown option. Daily, Weekly, and Yearly do not cause the 1 day offset bug. But selecting MONTHLY recurring events always causes the issue.
Any update? I’ve got a buggy client site that I suspect is related to this issue.
Any guidance here?
Another update possibly related to this issue: There are events with an event_status of 1 listed in the database that have been deleted entirely from the WordPress admin. Hypothetically, these deleted events still being in the database and listed as published events could be causing false positives on the location data associated with those events.
I have another thread going about locations for unpublished events showing up in the front end; with more investigation, I can see that I, too, have a problem of old/broken events that do not show up in the WordPress admin lingering in my database (status -1). I don’t know if I understand how these un-deletable events might be pulling in bad location data on the front end, but the problem seems to multiply into other areas of EM. This problem persists even with all plugins turned off and the default theme selected.
Yep, sure.

The error logs are clear.
Again, if it’s any help, the number of posts listed in parentheses at the top of the events view in the admin dash are also incorrect. It’s showing that there are 33 published events, where in fact the list only has 20 published events. There are only a total of 27 entries in the database under wp_em_events. I’m not sure where things are going wrong or getting lost.
I already addressed this in my first post above.
“I have tried to deactivate all other plugins and have tried with the default theme, and these problems are still occurring.”
Yeah, I already opened a new thread, thanks.
No. There are a grand total of only 4 published events using this plugin, but we have a good deal of “draft” events set up, and there are more than 20 locations showing up on the front end, many of which correspond only to unpublished/draft events. There should be at most 4 locations showing on the map.
I’m using version 5.6.6.1.
I’m experiencing a similar issue with events set to draft; their locations are showing up in the locations map despite the fact they haven’t been published.
