I’m stuck on a project with the same modal validation issues – can you please recommend the custom modal solution you went with? – thanks.

In reply to: [User Specific Content] Shortcodes broken on my sitewhy does the new formatting.php in 4.01 brake some shortcode in a couple plugins we use as well as a few client themes?…..I’ve got to get a programmer to look at some of these issues but in the mean time I just replaced it back to the 4.0 version to solve all client site issues.

In reply to: Real Estate IDX Feed plugin for MLS listingsEZPR, you actually believe this. You ignorance is shining.
The IDX is integrated into the sites. The fact is, We can claim and prove excellent search results from the actual MLS listings.
Juat as bad as Famed Site? I can send you a beginners guide to HTML if you would like so you can learn what a framed site is!
You do know how to look at the source code. It will reveal the truth.Just looking at this and I think I would have to say it that ezpr makes some very valid points here – I “have” taken the liberty to look at the code and “I” should perhaps be the one giving the html lessons here. The product your company produces is in fact “integrated” but is not in any way shape or form integrated into wordpress and as a true plugin or widget like WP Realty is.
And further more he is not claiming that you are iframing the mls – just that you are hosting the clients “theme” wrapped around your mls on a subdomain of your site (which is worthless) since it’s NOT the clients real domain.
And NOW let’s talk more about “MY” favorite subject “SEO” …btw this is what I do for a living – Main reason I financed WP Realty is because I use it for all my SEO client sites.
Since you said to take a look under the hood at the source code – let’s do that =)Let’s take a look at your “wordpress” mls solution that you are pushing us here:
First let’s take a look at your url structure:
https://www.southwaltonluxuryhomes.idxco.com/idx/4422/details.php?idxID=123&listingID=485297 and this is supposed to tell google what exactly?
Now for the listing page “Title”
<title>WaterColor Luxury Homes : South Walton Luxury Homes</title> – same on every listing regardless = worthless
Next For the “Meta”
Ooops – no meta keywords!
– and though Google may not use them there are other search engines that still do so it’s still important if you want to have the best seo/mls solution out there.
Ooops – no meta description!
– You are trying to “hope” that google will find something relevant to show in the search result but what will it look like?
I know mine will be what I want it to be “every-time” …and I know what mine will “look like” every time!I just pulled up one of my client sites and wanted to give you a idea of what a “true” seo’d MLS solution should produce.
All the below is “Dynamic” – meaning each and every mls listing is “unique” and thus easier to get all of your listing pages indexed into google for relevant search phrases based on MLS#, street addresses, subdivision, condo name etc..anything you want as long as it’s in the db.
Our listings can be structured anyway you want in the titles, urls, and meta – client can set their own structure within the admin panel.First off — urls and titles are permalink and all-in-one-seo compatible.
Myclientsite.com/realestate/listing-710677-waccamaw-lakes -141-cockle-shell-pawleys-island-sc /
<title>141 Cockle Shell Waccamaw Lakes Pawleys Island SC MLS# 710677 Home For Sale.</title>
<meta name=’keywords’ content=’141 Cockle Shell Waccamaw Lakes Pawleys Island SC MLS# 710677 Home For Sale.’>
<meta name=’description’ content=’141 Cockle Shell Waccamaw Lakes Pawleys Island, SC. MLS# 710677 Home For Sale.’>I think before you shoot off your mouth – like you have something better than you really do – you should do your homework first because there are lots of seo people that would gladly back me up that we are comparing apples to lemons here….but in the end ..the choice is up to the public as to what they are getting themselves into – but based on the facts I just provided I don’t think you will see a lot of buyers from this thread anytime soon =)
