In reply to: [qTranslate X] Home URL breaks after changing languageThank you for your help, John. I’m marking this as resolved.

In reply to: [qTranslate X] undefined function qtrans_getLanguage()I enabled Compatibility Functions, and the site works properly. As a test, I then disabled Compatibility Functions, and replaced instances of
qtrans_getLanguage
withqtranxf_getLanguage
in the theme files, and the site works properly.I believe replacing the function is the better long-term solution. Do you agree?

In reply to: [qTranslate X] undefined function qtrans_getLanguage()It’s a custom theme that was created by another agency. The theme was created to use the original qTranslate plugin.
We migrated to qTranslate-X 2.7.8 following your instructions, and had no problems. We first noticed this problem after updating qTranslate-X to 2.8. qTranslate (original) is still installed, but has remained deactivated since we installed qTranslate-X.
qTranslate-X (activated) and qTranslate (deactivated) are the only language-related plugins installed.
I’ll look into creating a wrapper when I’m able. In the meantime, please let me know if you have other suggestions.

In reply to: [qTranslate X] undefined function qtrans_getLanguage()The problem occurred with 2.8. I rolled back to 2.7.8, which works fine. I only mentioned 2.7.9 because qtrans_getLanguage() is mentioned in the changelog for 2.7.9.
The theme for this site is calling qtrans_getLanguage() in header.php, so the theme doesn’t work with 2.8. Do I need to change the theme to be compatible with 2.8, or what do you recommend?

In reply to: [qTranslate X] Flags above editor disappeared after updating to 2.8That worked, John. Thanks!
Same issue.
For me, 2.1.9 fixed the issues with the calendar page and a widget not rendering. All seems to be working properly.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Timely plugin doesn't 404Thank you, nicola.peluchetti. I too was seeing hundreds of 404s after installing this plugin. I noticed that my robots.txt already had several rules disallowing bots, but they started with previous slugs of my events page. I added new rules with the correct slug of the events page, and the 404s have stopped.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Plugin not Working?Deborah, the plugin works, but there was a bug after WordPress 4.0. Deleting and reinstalling the plugin will bring the Replace Media link back to the Media Library (List View).
Always check the support forums before posting. Several other people have been talking about this problem for 2 weeks. For example, see this thread and this thread.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Media Replace removed from Main Media Page?I can confirm that deleting and reinstalling the plugin will bring the Replace Media link back to the Media Library (List View).
I can confirm that 5.04 of the plugin fixed the issue in WordPress 3.9.2 and 4.0.
I’m having the same problem on multiple sites that have Jetpack Sharing and Google Analytics by Yoast installed.
