I understand now. The Content Aware Sidebars only allows you to determine which page, category, etc. to display the posts on.

As we are looking to display a hand-picked selection of posts on different pages (not popular posts), do you know of any WordPress widgets that let you do this? i.e. select unique posts and customise their appearance (thumbnail and headline).

I have tried to create a sidebar again for the News page (linked above) and haven’t been able to figure out how to display the articles I would like to show.

Does your widget allow you to list specific articles in the sidebar, displaying the article image and headline together? Similar to the ‘Popular Posts’ section on this page: https://www.theoutdooradventureblog.com/ukadventures/is-forest-therapy-just-for-tree-huggers/

If your widget does not allow you to display an article image and headline, do you have to download another widget to use in conjunction with Content Aware?

Any tips or suggestions you may have are greatly appreciated!

Just two quick design questions:

1. What size image works best for the pop-up page? Looking at the demo version of the plugin, the images are a lot bigger than the one I uploaded when you click on the eye icon. Here’s a screenshot of the image I am referring to: image screenshot

2. When I click on the link icon to the portfolio page, there is a gray rectangle next to the image. Do you know why this is appearing? Does it have to do with the size of the featured image? Here’s a screenshot of what it currently looks like: portfolio page

Do you know how to correct the CSS code so the pop-up portfolio works as it should?

Hi Imran,

Thank you for your speedy response.

I updated the settings and enabled the portfolio overlay links and the portfolio page still isn’t popping up.

Is there something else that may be causing the issue?
