The 3rd question was, because I know (before read some blogs) that what is recommended is that the “Homepage” (Static Frontpage) has to has ‘NO SLUGS’, just the URL… Am I right?

And if so, as I’ve explained several times, I ‘can not’ create any Page ‘without an SLUG’, because everytime I put a tittle, the permalink take it to create immediately and automatically a SLUG, and also if I don’t put any Title, the permalink creates always a SLUG, in this case a numeric SLUG…

So, in this order, is not possible for me to have a “clear” Homepage with “just” the URL, due it always will have an SLUG created automatically by the permalink…

Me again… Also if I create a “New Page” (from ‘0’) without “Title” immediately and automatically the “permalink” creates an “numeric SLUG” also impossible to cancel… So still now I can NOT create neither a ‘New Page’ without a SLUG, in order to have a clear “Homepage without any SLUG”

Furthermore, what I’m also realizing is that, when I create a “New Page” (from ‘0’) and I write just the “Title” of this new Page, immediately and automatically the “permalink” creates an SLUG with this title! And what is worst, then it is impossible to cancel this SLUG!

As I explained first, the best I reached to do is to ‘change’ this SLUG or better when I cancel the “Title” I obtain a ‘slash’ (/) as the new SLUG (instead of https://gmc-peru.com/ I obtain https://gmc-peru.com//) ! Is it “Normal”??

So I have more than one new doubt now…

1. Is this a WP BUG?
2. When you build what you want to be your Homepage (or Static Front Page)… It has “NOT to have a ‘Title'”? (in order to avoid the automatic creation of a SLUG in the permalink by WP)?
3. What do I have to do to cancel the SLUG from the “WP Editor” of my “actual Homepage” (that has this SLUG more than one year…)
4. And if I reach to “erase” this famous SLUG from the “WP Editor” of my “actual Homepage”… My SEO Ranking will be affected? (due is a “new link” Google may will read again…) Or Google SEO just see the URL and not the SLUG, specially in the ‘Homepage’?

* Just a friendly reminder, also if is already clear: When I go to the ‘Web’ I don’t see any SLUG… I just see the URL of the Homepage: https://gmc-peru.com/ But when I go to the Normal Editor and to the Quick Editor the SLUG is always there as I have already explained…

Just a little advice (or something like this… haha!) however your advice worked fine, I prefer my WP editor in “English” and to show the “just the Calendar” in spanish in the web… But when I’ve done your advice also all my WP editor has changed to spanish…

Front Page Slug
If you go to the web you ‘just’ will see the URL: https://gmc-peru.com/ (without the SLUG)
But when I go to the “editor” it has not only the URL but also the SLUG: https://gmc-peru.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Slug.png

As I’ve told you this issue is just in my Front Page (or Static Page), in all the other pages the ‘URL + SLUG’ you see in the web “always matches” with the ‘URL + SLUG’ I see and write in the editor.

Duplicate Frontpage
First, the duplicated page will be not recognized as a new Front Page, just as another simple page… This simple page will be recognized as the new Front page only when I choose it (instead of the old one) in the ‘customizer’ as a “Static Page”

However, this new duplicated page has a new ‘different SLUG’ to that of the pic I have attached you first, and my question was:
If ‘this change to this ‘new generated SLUG’, or also if I change to a better SLUG (that is supposedly better) or extremely if I just cancel totally the SLUG (that I know that is not recommended):
Are these changes in the SLUG will affects my Google SEO Ranking (that supposedly my web has gained with the old SLUG I showed you before in the attached pic for being on the web more or less in 1 year)? Or the Google SEO Ranking is only measured by the URL without the SLUG? and any changes of the SLUG just will improve or decrease this SEO ranking? I have this confusion also…

So, is clear that this means that I can “duplicate” my Front Page, because the URL will continue the same (https://gmc-peru.com/)… Isn’t it?

And what about the “SLUG”? in my Front Page “it never changes” right? But in all the other subpages can change… May I change it?

But I still have one doubt please… I have made the experiment with another subpage that I have, so I’ve duplicate it and in the ‘new one’ all THE STATS (BY YOAST SEO) have disappeared! and have started all over again… The Yoast Stats are another indicator? Or they have to do with the SEO? As I can see the Stats in Yoast, is there another place where I can see the SEO ranking of each of my URL’s or pages?

I’m not a programmer, but I’ll do my best to follow all your advices and finally find out what’s happening in order to resolve this issue…

Now in 1and1, I’m in “Managed WordPress” mode… do you think it has something to do with my issue? I’m thinking seriously to change to “Standard WordPress” mode, due I can’t access for example to the “Editor” (inside appereance) to make other changes, etc.
