I’ve had this plugin working perfectly on a clients website. Last weekend the HDD of their hosters server died. They replaced it, put the backups back but now the configure SMTP plugin stopped working!
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
Failed to connect to server
Connection timed out
Contacted the hoster to see if anything has changed. They told me it’s possibly because of the fact that they changed the version of Direct Admin (hosting administration software) and they told me that this version uses dovecot instead of pop3d. Can someone shine any light on this? Is there anything I can change in the plugin settings or code to make this working again?
