Why isn’t permanent one of the options?

i am getting this same problem. uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem. since i don’t chown will you be updating the plugin to fix this problem?

after installing the update the the slider is back and functioning. Thanks

what is the Simple History page? do you mean the WP Dashboard? i do leave the dashboard open and never had any issues before i installed Simple History and don’t have any since i uninstalled it.

i have the same problem. the slider was working, i updated to 1.2 and now there is no way to change the frequency.

also, when i went to install the plugin on a different site I got the message: The plugin does not have a valid header. i went to the plugin page and it was installed. i activated it and cannot set the frequency. it is set at 15.

yes, very weird. we upgrade when they come out so it must have been 3.7.1. how can i get our site info to you privately?

what causes this variable to change? i’m not doing anything in slimstat when it changes.

finally got a chance to get back to this.

the initial problem is gone. however search still doesn’t appear to be working. i search “Current filters: year equals 2013 ip equals 68”

the url translated it to “page=wp-slim-view-1&fs[year]=equals+2013”

i get “No data to display” but it appears that the url is not including the ip search. is that correct?

Can you recommend and provide links to backup plugins? I went to the Plugins page and searched plugins using “wp-backup” and many pages of plugins popped up but none exactly called “wp-backup” and I’d like to know which exact one you use/recommend. The top one “WP-DB-Backup” has 1.5 million downloads but the developer appears to have stopped updating in 2010.

what would cause an old existing version to suddenly “have no data” like banglocelt’s and hang like mine which is 2.8.3? i had no changes to my server. does slimstat access anything outside of my server, such as your site? other users have said 2.8.3 hung so they stopped using it, 2.8.4. didn’t fix the problem, and 2.8.5 is having problems so i won’t upgrade until i hear from users that it’s working fine. can you tell us what exactly you are finding that is causing these issues and if it’s external to our servers or is slimstat just messing up its sql db?
