That did not work either. So according to the DB all the User’s Roles should be reset to what they were originally. My user is set to an administrator in the DB. But yet it is still not working.

I also downloaded the plugin User Role Editor and created a new user with all the same capabilities as an admin and that did not work either.

I gave that a try and it did not work. It is still giving me the notification that says “WordPress 5.5.3 is available! Please notify the site administrator.”

@binarywc I used the free version of Duplicator, when I transferred the website over twice to the main domain it keeps coming up as a page saying index of/ and then all the files.

One thing I did notice is that it is not transferring and files over in some folders. After it was transferred, I went into the theme files I was using and it just had the folders in their but not any of the other files like the index page and the css pages.

Any reason this would be happening?

I found what was making it redirect, it was in the phpmyadmin. I am now able to get into my subdomain and it is close to being the same before I made any changes. The elementor formatting is still not there but that will be easier to go in and change once I have the website moved over.

I am going to try one of those plugins to migrate my website over. Thanks for your help.

Once migrated, I will move the thread as completed.

@binarywc I have the website restored to the backup, but my subdomain now keeps redirecting to my main domain.

I can visit pages off of my subdomain like dev.bnnorth.net/about but if I go to just dev.bnnorth.net it redirects me to bnnorth.net.

I have been trying to find the redirection and why it would be doing that, but it doesn’t seem to be anywhere.
