Okay, I’ve got it fixed. I copied over the one from the original main root to the subfolder, then I reset permalinks to default and now it works.

How do I know if it’s set correctly? I don’t even see that file on the server via FTP. Do you have a guidline on how to setup the .htaccess file for an implementation like I have?

I checked and they look good. Any other thoughts? I still am not clear on what Ipstenu is recommending??
