Yes actually using WPML .xml file at the root of the plugin looks like a much better solution.

Well,

I actually found a way to generate the needed shortcode to merge all the Custom HTML widgets into a single one.
It took me a long time to fix that to get exactly the same result as before. No improvement for W3C.
Consider the problem solved but please let the WordPress team know what I said above : Why not just spot the errors to help and let us save the widget content anyway ?

Sorry, but I’m not sure I understand what you say @barrygen.
However I will answer your question for Carsten.
There’s no need to be a famous WP plugin developer to seize the quality of a plugin.

I make no judgement about the code in itself since I didn’t take the time to look because I thought that was unnecessary.

This plugin has been introduced to me by someone who is a WP novice. That means this kind of customer is expecting a well designed plugin with at least the elementary features that could make it exploitable by anyone. I mean this is the purpose of a CMS, isn’t it !

Rencontre – Dating Site is bad for many reasons.
First the UX is uggly and there is no way to customize it through the plugin itself. That means you have to modify the CSS files which is not what and end user is supposed to do.
The author doesn’t seem to know how hooks work. For example he didn’t use the_excerpt() function and display the full user description excerpt whithin the presentation thumbnails. Add to this that he didn’t take the time to set a CSS overflow:hidden on the HTML container and you’ll begin to understand why I say this is bad.

Sure no problem.
To fix that problem you have to open the Q2W3 fixed widget setting panel and set the resfresh interval from 1500 to 0.

Well of course I undid these changes after noticing that it didn’t change anything to my problem ??
Anyway I set the refresh time to 0 from the dashboard and it actually works.
Problem solved.

Thank you for your fast answer.
I use v 4.1.
I found the operator “refresh-interval” (within the main php file) which is basically set to 1500 on line 232.
I set it to 0 as well as increased it to 15000 to check how it behaves.
However it seems that it doesn’t fix the problem I described above.
If you have any other idea please let me know.

PS: has anyone noticed something with the pop-up sidebar menu after updating to 1.11 ?

Hi,

There is two different menus in the dashboard. A primary one and a secondary one which is actually dedicated to social media.
I checked the settings before posting on this forum. I have got a primary menu correctly configured including 4 differents pages. The “primary menu” box is checked.
Please note that the social media menu works properly.
I also switched to another theme to make sure that my Primary menu works normally with it and that’s the case.
