I did what you said. I’m not quite sure how to get the results to you on webpagetest.org. The results information looks a little more complicated than the google page insights results. Just so you know what I did in regards to the CSS Options:
    Optimize CSS code (checked)
    Also Aggregate Inline CSS (checked)
Inline and Defer CSS: (checked) – In this case, I got the autoptimize.css. I then opened it copied it and placed it in the critical css generator. I took those results and copied and pasted into the area under Inline and Defer CSS.

Now I am back to the point where my site loads in a weird way. It stays that way until I navigate to a different page. When I return to the homepage, the site looks normal.

ok. Here is what I have for css options: Optimize Css code (checked), inline and defer CSS (checked). I copied my Limo 1 style.css file. Pasted it into the critical css generator. Took the results copied and pasted into the inline and defer CSS. Now my site is all messed up. It still says say autoptimize.css is render blocking.

As far as image optimization, I have tried Optimus, EWWW, and Shortpixel. I ran optimizations on all my images and still get the same results about images need to be optimize

now I am getting optimize delivery of css: autoptimize, dashicons, fontawesome, and font.google
    in pagespeed insights

I tried your suggestion, bit it did not work for me. The weird thing is that the site will load as previously mentioned (4 photos on load halfway and the paypal button moves down farther). But if I navigate to a different page on the site then return to the homepage, it looks normal. I’m at a lost.

That’s because I changed it back. The 4 photos only load halfway, and the Paypal button at the bottom moves down farther. Talk about frustrating.

Frank and Luke….status update. I went ahead and did what you instructed. I worked with the style.css file (in Limo 1-child theme), and although my Page Insights score stayed the same, my page seems to load a lot faster. The only issue that has popped up is I have 4 photos on the home page that only loads halfway. You can see what I mean at aboveallevents.com. Any suggestions

Luke I just saw your response, just as I was pressing the send button. So I am in the right place on the wordpress dashboard? Again Appearance>Editor> go in and copy entire style.css (Limo 1 not Genesis since I am using a child theme). Paste that in the Critical Css generator website and go from there. That’s what I gathered from your post (Frank). Last question, I hope, should I do the same thing with the fleet.css file? By the way, I started to proceed with this already and got a big error asking me if I wanted to Whitelist what I am doing. It scared the bejesus out of me so I aborted. I was afraid I was about to shutdown the entire internet.

First of all, I would like to emphasize that I really appreciate the fast response. Now back to the task at hand. I forgot to mention this in my previous post just in case it makes any difference. But I am using Limo 1 theme which is a child of the parent theme Genesis. I looked all around the WordPress Dashboard, and the closest thing to any sort of code I could find was on the left side of the the dashboard. I then clicked on Appearance>Editor>. From there, I see quite a few Templates (php files) and Styles (Stylesheet style.css along with fleet.css). Am I in the right location? And if so, would I deal with the Genesis style sheet or the Limo 1 stylesheet. I do apologize for the questions and really appreciate the support.

I can see why he is asking the question. I have the exact same question. I’m in the process of trying to eliminate render blocking in order to increase my score. They want me to locate a file for the inline and defer option, but I have no clue how to find it.

I do know how to use shortcodes. Let me rephrase that. I normally copy and paste the shortcode into a text/html widget. That’s about the extent of my shortcode knowledge. I actually prefer the way my current icons look and their placement. There is just no way to follow AND share with it. That’s why I plan to use your plugin. Also, is there a way for you to make the icons have the same look as mine do now? The color looks a little more crisp. Thanks for the quick support. As previously mentioned, if we get this figured out, i will by the premium version
