Hey @notilaplata,
It’s great to hear that you love the plugin, that’s awesome! Thank you for using it!
Also, appreciate the feedback and here’s my answer to your suggestions:
1. We’re in fact working on enabling translation in the next release of WP Mobile Pack. In other words, you’ll be able to either select from a predefined list of languages (Spanish will be included) or simply translate the plugin in your own language.
2. & 3. These points are related to my 1st answer.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using the plugin and for contributing with feedback/suggestions. Cheers!
I see, that’s fishy! I think that’s something wrong with the way WordPress exports content for those pages. First of all, for Wall Of Fame page you actually have more pages (for each letter) and I suppose there’s a plugin that knows how to bundle all of them into a single page? Or perhaps this is something you’ve customized yourself?
I also noticed that the description of each post (not pages) is in fact an extract of the privacy page. There’s definitely something wrong with your WordPress setup.
I’m sorry, this is something that goes beyond WP Mobile Pack ?? Alternatively, I suggest using Appticles.com (free version) and use RSS feeds to create the mobile web application. Let me know if you need help with that.
@vanhael I can’t think of a reason why that happens to you. Would you mind activating the plugin so I can check it out on my end? I’m around and I can get back to you pretty fast with an answer.
@sbwilliamson see @dreddurius indications.
WP Mobile Pack comes with its own application theme that can be customize to resemble your identity. If you want to keep the wordpress blog theme for mobile phones, you have to make sure that’s responsive. However, that has nothing to do with WP Mobile Pack.
Hi @websupportguy,
With WP Mobile Pack you can have a menu that consists of Categories and Pages. At the moment it doesn’t support any other type of menu items. What exactly do you have in mind?
@mstudioil you can edit the order by drag & drop from the WP Mobile Pack dashboard.
Hey @merybellic! What’s your URL?
Hi @pietroriccio!
WP Mobile Pack doesn’t come with support for WP Biography, but that’s a really good suggestion. Thanks for that.
Unfortunately, I can’t really tell you when that will become available. However, if you’re in a hurry please drop me an e-mail at [email protected] and we’ll discuss how we can squeeze it in.
Hey @newdivision1!
You’re right, thanks for bringing this up. Because WP Mobile Pack actually produces a single-page application, we had to implement a mechanism of “translating” URLs: from site to app and vice-versa.
As a result, the application now correctly loads the corresponding article if the mobile users comes from a site URL. Unfortunately, the other way around has some shortfalls and it still needs some work done.
However, you could try the free version from Appticles.com – I just checked and seems to be working there. Let me know how it goes for you.
I think it’s only fair to have all the elements with regards to @radioboy969 review:
1. The first contact with support has been made on Oct 11, 2014 on [email protected]. @radioboy969 reported that the Dashboard is broken, in the sense that he can’t edit/add the Double Click for Publishers advertising code. I’ve personally answered his request and not even 60 minutes later he came back with his answer, figuring out that in fact there was nothing wrong with our Dashboard: “I don’t need help with this anymore. It was adblock which I disabled. So it started working.”
2. He then came back reporting another issue with synchronizing his WordPress content, which was in fact due to his server throwing a “500 Internal Server Error”. Obviously, I’ve guided @radioboy969 to get in touch with the hosting company since this has nothing to do with Appticles.
3. The 3rd issue was with Ads. He was unable to set it up correctly on Double Click for Publishers and so, the ads where not being displayed on his mobile application. Again, not an issue related to Appticles.com. However we’ve offered our assistance with this, but he refused our help.
Judging by the vulgar/bully language he used in a couple of messages, it became clear that he didn’t want to solve this the peaceful way, although we have an entire conversation where we didn’t do anything else than to offer our help/assistance, even if the reported issues aren’t directly linked with Appticles.com.
Also, our support system clearly shows that actually less than 30 hours passed between any two messages that we’ve exchanged. This is all about mutual respect. We’ve received none from @radioboy969 while he got plenty from us.
These are not the type of customers we wish to work with, thus even though we have a NO REFUND policy, we agreed to refund his 9.99 EUR without even going through a PayPal dispute (which we could have easily won based on the records we have on the conversation, his activity on our Dashboard, etc.).
Hi Rose,
Sorry to hear that by upgrading to the 2.1 version, WP Mobile Pack suddenly lost its mojo ?? Let’s see if we can help you in any way!
Would you please send over your URL address with the WP Mobile Pack 2.1 enabled (just for a few moments until we try to solve this for you)?Another question, if you don’t mind: what was the previous version of the WP Mobile Pack that worked for you?
You can either reply here or send an e-mail at [email protected]
Hi @hondo6566,
At the moment the category pictures are dynamically displayed from within your “featured” images. Your suggestion is valid, but it’s simply not available at the moment on the plugin.
We’re definitely going to include it, but until we do you can actually extend the plugin by use of Appticles.com. We have there the option to change category pictures and to order them as per your needs.
Hi @sco1385,
Sorry about that, we’re not supporting RTL at the moment although we’ve included your request in our product roadmap and as long as enough people support the request, we’re definitely going to push it to priority.
Hi Leslie, things seem to have solved. I’ve just replied to your messages, check your e-mail ??
