You must use PHP5. That error indicates, that you are PHP4 which is NOT supported.

Sorry, I did not saw your messages. Try the newest version. (1.5.1) It works for me with WP2.5 and 2.6.

Sorry, might be that my comments were misleading. I know that the repository is available and the files are in it, but I uploaded a new version, which is not visible on the plugin’s page:

It should be 1.3, but it is still 1.2.1.
