but it looks like it may be related to your browser cache
as plugin itself doesn’t use any unique technologies for redirection, just uses built-in WP functions
Usually continuous redirects in WP are related to SEO plugins and Permalinks settings

@courage97 sorry, this feature was disabled in latest versions, as it become impossible to make it working in new WP versions

Instead – you can use Bulk action to Restrict multiple posts as shown here:

@dusemedia try new 1.4.0 version, it has bulk restriction feature, and restriction indicator (+/-) for posts/pages in a list.

That login screen is not a default WP login screen, sorry.
Seems like it’s already overwritten by theme functions, so the plugin doesn’t guarantee login screen message will appear there.
It works on default login screens only which are usually looks like this:

what theme are you using ?
is it some common theme or custom made ?

Unfortunately, we refused to support this feature in latest version, cause to changes in WP which made it nearly impossible to do.

This issue was related to Classic Editor plugin, and is fixed in 1.3.2 version.
Please upgrade the plugin and try again ?
