Thanks for the idea. I updated the theme and all works fine.

I really like the plugin.

Still when I create a page [album id=x template=compact] does not work. For some reason the same code in a post does work.

I have noticed the same issue. I am using WP 2.7 and NextGEN 1.0.7
I am able to post a picture, gallery and an album into a post, but not in a page.
