replacement of index.php in plugins folder with index.html (and deletion of index.php) worked for me as well

This problem just appeared for me as well – very, very strange – exists with all plugins – I contacted websiteguy and he says the problem went away for him, but he never found out why

Has anyone who has experienced this problem figured out what causes it and how to fix it? I’ve had to do a temp/undesirable fix of modifying my theme’s comments.php to not load the commenter name, email, url into the fields when it exists – so, at least no commenters’ details will be exposed – downside is everyone has to type in his/her details every time

whoa – this should definitely not be here – what a strange thing – please delete – will duplicate in appropriate place now

topic bump in case anyone else is having the same problem, and some more info: grey boxes don’w show updon’t on PC running latest versions of Internet Explorer or Firefox, so it looks like a problem localized to Firefox on a mac (looks fine in safari)

check to make sure you haven’t made any errors in changes to your theme’s css file – I had the same problem, restored an older version of my main css file and the sociable images went back to displaying inline – I don’t know what the change was, but it’s worth a shot for you – maybe I’ll try to find out what it was …
