I had this issue. I ended up manually setting the data to 4 stars. Not legit, but it was the only was I could get around it. Cheers, Cathryn.

Hi elistdog, I had to manually type them in. I’m sure a more techo person than me would be able to find a way to upload but I didn’t have very many so didn’t take too long. Good luck with it. Cheers ??

jarnobaselier and elitistdogg – I have switched to Rich Reviews for the time being. It works similarly to WPCR except that you can’t edit reviews prior to publishing.

Currently looking at Rich Reviews as a replacement – not as feature rich, at least it works. I would prefer to keep using WP Customer Reviews as I use it on multiple sites, but not sure it’s still supported ??

Hi cmmmc, thanks for that – your suggested css changes do get rid of the “submit your review” button but not the actual reviews themselves. *sigh* I’m thinking I’m going to have to find a different review plugin until this can be resolved. Any suggestions anyone?

That’s at least 3 of us – I guess it’s some comfort in knowing it’s not just me! My theme is Customizr.

Hi Nik, Backup buddy seems to be working fine, and I noticed when I installed another completely unrelated plugin I got the same error message so my guess is the ElectricFeet is right, somewhere along the way some other plugin has modified class-fire-init.php. I plan to upgrade to the newest version of Customizr shortly, I suspect that will resolve the error message.

Thanks Gino, yes, I’ve renamed plugins and one by one reactivated. So far so good, but I’m just a bit concerned about the error code when installing backupbuddy. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this conflict/error – backupbuddy is a pretty common and robust plugin. Maybe my theme is corrupt? ?? When I switch to 20-13 my problems go away and backupbuddy installs fine. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE customizr! ??

Okay – I figured out a bit more. It’s because my webhost uses google pagespeed optimisation which does strange things to images. Deactivating this forces the plugin to use the first image. But it would be really nice if it could optionally pull the featured image ??
