I’m writing because recently my Zotpress installation hasn’t been able to filter by author: https://dcg.fa.utl.pt/authors/castro-e-costa
The gears keep on spinning and nothing happens

I have tried removing the author part from the shortcode, and then it works fine. [zotpress collection=”7T5V2XFZ” style=”apa” sort=”ASC” title=”yes”]

Any idea why it is doing this?

I’m getting the exact same problem: people with the same last name, so I try to filter by first AND last name, but it doesn’t work:

[zotpress collection="7T5V2XFZ" author="Ferreira" style="apa" sort="ASC inclusive="no" title="yes"]

Actually, if I try JUST the first name nothing is returned. It feels like it only looks for LAST names.
Is there anything we are doing wrong, or is it the plug in that is yet unable to do it?

Thanks for the fast reply, and thank you for Zotpress ??

I’m actually thinking the problem comes from Pods – their magic tag {@last} might be generating something other than plain text.
I actually place the exact some question on their side, so if I get a reply I’ll let you know.
Anyway, if you have some spare time, please look into it.
