I was able to figure this out by editing my theme’s search.php file. Changing the “excerpt” code line to the “the content”. So all good here, thanks!

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Plugin activation fatal error on a Nginx siteHi there,
I’m Mike and I work for Pressable. We do not allow any type of caching plugins such as LiteSpeed Cache. This is due to the fact that we already have server side caching and CDN in place for free on all our Pressable sites in Production mode.
Feel free to reach out to us in Support via the helpdesk or live chat for any other of your questions concerning this or anything else. Thanks so much!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Problem with format type archive pagesI should make a correction to my previous statement. Staging sites do have Object caching but no page caching.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Problem with format type archive pagesThis is Mike from Pressable support. I was digging into this further on the staging site which has no caching, and literally the only thing that fixes the issue is disabling the Yoast SEO plugin.
I have just finished testing by disabling ALL plugins and leaving only Yoast SEO active, yet still the redirect persists. Also tested other themes with no luck. As Bill mentioned, I don’t see this being a platform issue since he does have a staging site created previously that does not have this issue.
This has me scratching my head over here as well.
Thanks for testing! I did another test this morning and it seems much better. The page doesn’t stall anymore. Could have been a temporary server issue, possibly with port 465 or something. Have a good weekend!
Closing issue. I tried alternate SMTP plugin to test and get same extreme lag. Either a Gsuite problem or something in my hosting environment. Thanks for listening ??
Well, I feel like an idiot lol. It must be a Gsuite issue. I checked a site that I had not yet updated your plugin on , and the same weird spinning wheel delay happens on that form as well. So it is not the latest update of your plugin.
If not a Gsuite issue, maybe an issue with the plugin recently that I haven’t bothered testing since the update prior to tonight’s?

In reply to: [Cache Enabler] define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); is not set in wp-config.php.Hey there,
Pressable does not allow any type of caching plugins to be installed on our platform and this would include “Cache Enabler” We run our own server side caching that will cause issues with any of these types of plugins. This is why you are not getting this plugin to work properly. Please reach out to us through the HelpDesk if you have any further issues. Thanks!

In reply to: [Title Toggle for Storefront Theme] 500 Error code?Hey there!
While I am not the plugin dev, I do work for Pressable. We would love to try and help you as well but we did not see a support ticket from you. It is definitely best to see if the plugin dev has any insight but we can help you check error logs to see if we can trace the error at least which can be helpful.
Here is how to send in a ticket: https://kb.pressable.com/faq/getting-support/
Thanks!

In reply to: Admin rightsHey Balu158
You always want to ensure that you give Admin access only to someone who you absolutely trust. If you are hiring a third party developer, make sure they are vetted in the WordPress community.
Also, just be sure to have a backup of your site should anything go wrong. After the third party is completely done with designing your site, immediately remove them as an Admin.
These are a few tips I would recommend.

Pressable SupportHey there,
Hmm that is odd. These particular cache exclusions should get it to bypass cache without issue. Double check to make sure they are also excluding not just the cookie but the argument “password-protected” as well to be sure.
Also, I would recommend playing with this on your staging environment as on WPE staging, there is absolutely no cache. So if you find the plugin to be temperamental on staging as well, then you know it could not be cache but maybe a conflicting plugin.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: Login on new subsite, redirects to ‘/wp-admin/bar’HI Dave,
I have not seen this issue before. However, it certainly sounds like a plugin is at fault. I would recommend first looking at any plugins you may have active that directly involve customizing or changing the admin bar. I hope this helps.

In reply to: problems image uploadHey Peter,
Sorry to hear about the troubles you are having. It sounds as if the files you are trying to upload are either too large or not allowed as a file type as you mentioned. However, it could also be a plugin conflict issue.
I would check out your file upload size limit setting and/or check the file type you are trying to upload and make sure it is allowed. If this fails, try disabling plugins to see if there is a conflict.
