I am using the Naix theme, interestingly enough I did some further digging about and found that this seemed to have fixed the problem:

html, body {
    max-width: 100% !important;
    overflow-x: hidden !important;
}

Actually managed to redirect the A Records on wordpress.com and that fixed the issue, thanks for the help anyway!

thanks for the quick reply, problem is i’m on a mac. any ideas how that would work? I’m fairly new at all of this stuff.
