My title is back. Just happened. No white on white anymore. I didn’t update anything myself (no update notification for theme) so it just seemed to happen. Bizarre. ETA: And its gone again!

Same issue here as well. Been trying to figure out all morning how to fix it. Ruled out the plug ins. With all of us with Hestia it has to be a Hestia glitch with the new WordPress.

Hi Graham. I’m looking for the same thing so I went to your link above. It seems you were able to remove the website requirement and also added a check box for signing up for the website. Can you tell me how you managed to do both? Thanks!

sorry. Ok. I did what I told you Mailchimp did. It was actually pretty easy. I went to the blog/feed link, clicked ctrl F, searched Pubdate and it is indeed the day after the last post was posted instead of Nov 4th.

I thought me clearing the cache only affected my own computer? Does this mean I need to clear the cache after each time I post? Would that fix the problem you think?

Good question. I have no idea how to find out. It was Mailchimp that told me before. If you tell me how to find out I’ll look…

Hi. I do have a caching plug in. W3 Total Cache Premium. I just cleared my cache.

Thank you James. Mailchimp did write me back. They said that by doing ctrl F for ‘pubdate’ the feed is showing last pubdate being Nov 4. But I posted a blog post on Nov 7. That’s not showing up in the https://sunsetsandrollercoasters.com/blog/feed which is why Mailchimp didn’t send it out.

How do I make sure that each blog post goes to the feed at the time its actually published? I’m so confused.

I changed the feed to be https://sunsetsandrollercoasters.com/blog/feed

It worked and the blog post sent. I then published another post a few days later and again, it didn’t send.

There is something going on that the feed isn’t getting to Mailchimp.

James Huff – on the link you provided it states:

Your feed appears to be encoded as “UTF-8”, but your server is reporting “US-ASCII”

Could this be the problem? How does this get fixed? I tried following the ‘help’ link but I really don’t understand it.

Thank you ?? I was able to get in touch with Google support earlier today and it turns out, I was using the wrong address (adding a www in front of the blog title). I think I’ve managed to fix the issue.

I have a plug in for signing up subscribers only. Not for sending blog posts. For that I use mailchimp.com

I had to give them the url of my RSS feed. I gave them https://www.sunsetsandrollercoasters.com/feed

I dont’ know much about computers so followed a tutorial I found online. Looks like to got it wrong ?? I’ll give them the proper feed. Thank you so much!! I was missing the ‘blog’ part of the feed.

Hello. Yes its the latest version. I updated last week when prompted.

No child theme. I do have a few things in Custom CSS but that’s it. They’ve been there from set up so it wouldn’t explain the change from one post and the others.

This is a free theme. I am using total cache. I’ll try deactivating it.
