In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Latest update truncating url for FB shareTo be honest, I don’t know how to do that.
Also would this affect our ability to post other articles out of the site on FB?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Latest update truncating url for FB shareMany Thanks.
Despite entering the canonical link under the Yeast advanced settings, FB is still pulling the truncated version, even after repeated scraping.
This was never a problem before the latest Yeost update and it is only an issue on the classified ads on our site. The FB share for all the articles on site still works normally, so it shouldn’t be a problem with the way FB is grabbing the custom canonical?
I’ve got very limited WP skills, so am frustrated with how to resolve this. I can’t turn deactivate Yeost every time I want to share one of our ads.
thanks

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Preview Image Not showing after updateThank (though that issue was some time ago).
It turned put to be a Facebook outage, that just happened to coincide with the exact time we installed the update.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Facebook preview imageMy site started having the same problem, since I updated yesterday. Whenever we now try to share a post, the image comes up blank with a “?”, but when I scrape it in the FB debugger, it is showing the correct URL for the image.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WP 4.7.2 removes product pricing/availabilityBTW, I didn’t mention you in the post (Did I?). How did you get looped into this. Also, my plugin page does not show an update for EML, it says where’re current. Am I missing something?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WP 4.7.2 removes product pricing/availabilityThanks. We actually just updated the PHP and that seems to have solved it.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Heads up..Latest udpate today killed site.I see this has been marked as resolved by the developer…is it really? Seems to still be a lot of questions, to so quickly right this issue off?
As a business owner that doesn’t have the depth of experience and coding skills like many on this page, it is particularly difficult (and painful) to be the guinea pig for beta testing something like this. I think the developers have lost sight of the fact that not everyone using their product are experts.
Does anyone know, if I get rid of the Yoast plug-in and switch to another, what happens to all the SEO info that we’ve created for the 1,000-plus articles on our site?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Heads up..Latest udpate today killed site.Soon as I updated, it killed our site as well. I get the following
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/vinta14/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/functions.php on line 1446Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::get() in /home/vinta14/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 28
Locked it up so bad had to restore from back-up. Despite all the complaints about this, I don’t see a response yet form the developer? Really need some answers…

In reply to: [My YouTube Channel] Videos disappear from WidgetWanted to follow up. You came out with yet another update, which is great, but isn’t there a way that you can structure these where it doesn’t wipe out all the API keys and settings? It’s an enormous time sink to have to rebuild that plug-in every couple of days, with the number of updates that are being generated. Also it makes our site look bad, when the plug-in is dead, until we discover that it has to be rebuilt. This is the only plug-in that we consistently have to rebuild after every update. Something to consider, if possible.
Again thanks for your help and diligence in keeping the plug-in current.
Much appreciated.
