I used the one-click child theme plug in.

Where is my child theme folder?

I’d like to try that but there’s no header.php option in my child theme side bar. Do I have to import it or something?

@esmi I’m simply using the header option in the dashboard. I’ve been sticking to my child theme’s style.css for all of my blog alternations.

I’d like to change the post footer information in my Twenty Twelve child theme. Right now it says, “This entry was posted in Children on June 18, 2013.” I’d like for it to say, “Posted by Carrie”
I’d also like to add the date of the post underneath the post title.

I just tried doing this in my child theme and nothing is changing. Here’s what I’m looking at in the child theme’s style.css.

Now to figure out how to change things in the child theme….

I just went in and made a new posts that had a title and text only and posted it. That showed up as a circle with words. Then I went back in and edited the post and added a few images and updated it. That showed up still as a circle with words.

I’ve check into that. I’ve gone into a post and selected a featured image, that changes the image in the circle. But when I go back and “remove featured image”, the image that shows up in the circle is just a default one from within the post.

The demo site has one of their circles with words and the rests are pictures. I can’t figure out where I’d make this change.
