Did some work on something else, left it for an hour, come back and the static and post in appearance had appeared!! Checked off the buttons and now it works – not sure how that happened but all is well.

Thanks for the post – its not showing static or posts in appearance – customize or in the setting – reading either.

I have a second website and it is showing in that one but not on this one. No idea why

The site that is missing the static / post option is my blog site so I need to fix it!
Help anyone?
