Turns out it was the new metabox I needed to tick (odd that it showed up initially though!), so that’s all sorted now and it’s showing up.

The MyBookProgress widget is running on my sidebar. And the ‘information’ button on the widget links to this novel page: https://carmenshea.co.uk/novels/amanzimtoti-inyoni-rocks/ but no progress information is actually showing.
